Victor / ADOPTED

VICTOR, showing off the pep in his step that I keep posting he has gotten back.
This boy is estimated to be 9 years old and certainly is loving his life more now that we have addressed the UTI he arrived with and have him on antibiotics for his nasty ear infection.
Victor has also been diagnosed with Diabetes Insipidus, sometimes referred to as ‘Water Diabetes’ because the symptoms involve excessive thirst and urination. Diabetes Insipidus is easily controlled with the drug Desmopressin and Victor is taking 0.1mg orally p/day and responding very well.
He is going to our Vet for his neuter surgery tomorrow, he does have an anal adenoma (a benign mass), which is what ruptured and sent us racing to the Vet this weekend, but it will shrink after his neuter and removing it could be high risk for an excessive bleed. Adenomas are typically caused by the testosterone hormone and neutering him is the best medicine we can give him!
Once Victor has recovered from his neuter and his ear infection is all cleared up he will be ready to go home. We want to see this loveable hunk tucked away as soon as we can find the right place for him to land.
If you can offer Victor a place in your living room and a soft bed to lay his head please put in an application on our website.
Victor’s vet bills and neuter surgery will be in excess of $1000 when all is said and done. If you are able to help with any amount towards his vetting, we would be so very grateful, our funds are running low with the heavier medical cases we have taken on over the last few months.
If you prefer not to donate money we have an Amazon Wish list; dog food, slip leashes, kennel door flaps, fish oil supplements and high calorie gel are the most urgent items on there at the moment
